Frequently asked questions
- Is my data sent to a server?
- No. All tools run in your browser. Text, files and tokens never leave your device. The only exception is the REST client, which sends your request directly to the API you choose.
- Do I need an account?
- No. There is no sign-up and no limit.
- Does it work offline?
- Yes. After the first visit the tools work without internet, and you can install them as an app.
- Are results the same as in my programming language?
- For JSON, Base64, URL encoding, hashes and UUIDs, yes: they follow the standard definitions. Small differences can occur with unusual input.
- Is it safe for secrets such as tokens or keys?
- Processing happens locally, so the content is not sent anywhere. Still, handle real secrets with care and avoid pasting production keys on shared computers.
